This exciting release centres on four main
areas of improvement: Intuitive Design Experience: A new intuitive, easy to learn, easy to use style UI, simplifies the design environment, reducing the learning curve for new users and improving design cycles for experienced users. Optimised Design Workflows: Streamlined command interaction, provides more modeling power with fewer clicks. Intuitive control within Move 3D provides the option of one or more modifications, so that designers can quickly and easily create and modify 2D and 3D designs. Mini Toolbar extensions add further convenience. Fully customisable and without pre-defined options enables designers to work how they want, with the tools they need. |

Design Management Productivity: Improved access and data
storing for you and your extended team, is made easier by a new Web Client
for Model Manager. Extended basic and advanced search access to database
information and improved file download for data consumers, makes data
sharing easier than it has ever been. More powerful Design Solution: With Creo Elements/Direct 18.0 you can take advantage of extended downstream design options with the new Creo 1 apps: Creo Parametric: Interoperability provides transfer of basic assembly structure (associative) and model geometry. Creo Simulate: Run complex downstream design simulations with Creo Simulate or Creo Advanced Simulation Extension. Creo View MCAD: Share designs with the extended team for mark up and comments, accessible by users in a multi-CAD environment. Creo Illustrate 3D: Users can reuse 3D CAD data to create rich, interactive service information such as step-by-step procedures, 3D interactive illustrations and 3D animations. As a member of the Creo Product family Creo Elements/Direct model data can be used to execute product simulations, view and mark up designs, extend a direct model with parametric design aspects, or create interactive service information from 3D CAD designs.
