MSU security device on USB port!

The MSU security device fits to a serial port on all hardware platforms. But some laptops are supplied with an USB port instead of a serial port. Therefore, CoCreate has tested and verified a number of USB-serial port converters (incl. drivers) that can be used effectively on USB ports. The converter is to be placed between the USB computer port and the MSU security device.

USB-serial converters will not be included in the CoCreate products portfolio. The appropriate converter must be purchased and installed by the user himself.

Note:
Apart from those on the list, there may be other converters that function as well. However, converters not tested and approved by CoCreate will not be supported by CoCreate.

1) If the converter has a DB9 Male SERIAL-Connector you have to use a DB9-DB25 adapter (part of MSU shipment) to connect the MSU security device.

2) "Supported" means that the device has been tested successfully by CoCreate.
