Subject: How can I get my puchased licenses from PTC internet site ?

The base and update licenses of Creo Elements/Direct products are put to a file called License.conf.

These licenses can be taken online from PTC internet support site.

Below you see step-by-step how these licenses can be taken

1. Go to www.ptc.com/support
    
2. Choose the tab under Licensing "CoCreate & Creo Elements/Direct"
    
3. Click on the first link:

   Creo Elements/Direct Licensing Service for Password Delivery and Password Review
    

4. Choose either new orders or updates or all
    
5. Select the Sales Order Number (SON) or the contract number (these numbers are sent to you from PTC)
    
6. Enter the amount of seats wanted and the appropriate Hardware ID number of your Creo Elements/Direct License server
    
7. Confirm your selection
    
8. Confirm the license agreement
    
9. Get your new created licenses by e-mail and in parallel on the screen
    
10. Enter your licenses to your License.conf file

Warning: Keep your licenses in a safe place. Alternatively you can send a copy of your licenses to your software provider to have a backup as well.
